Meritetes

Meritetes
(fl. 2580 BC)
   A queen of Khufu of Dynasty 4. She is known from a now lost inscription and is believed to have been buried in one of the unnnamed queen’s pyramidsnear her husband’s pyramid at Giza. She may have been the mother of Kawab. Two princesses of Dynasty 4 also bore this name. Alater Queen Meritetes was the wife of Pepy I of Dynasty 6.
